How about customers in the grand opening day of our new store?
According to our brief research about customers of our Nagata store, they knew the information from articles of newspapers and from their friends.
In other words, they learned about our charitable activities and events for dealing with social problems.
Nagata area in Kobe is one of the most seriously damaged areas from the Great Hanshin Earthquake in 1995.
Through surviving against their common hardships from earthquakem, the people in Nagata area believes in the importance of cooperation, so their attitude toward charities is remarkable.
The main goal of FREEHELP Nagata store is to support a NGO group "Women's net Kobe" which helps women and children sufferring from Domestic Violence issues.

These are the designs created by Seitaro Kuroda whose work is used as a signboard of FREEHELP Store in Kakogawa. Why don't you visit our store to appreciate these interesting works.

June 21 2013 Farewell to Our FREEHELP Blue Birds in Kakogawa.
Hello everyone! :)
Please have a look of this picture below.
This is a huge signboard of Free Help store in Kakogawa.
You can find some blue birds in the paint work.
They are the symbol of FREEHELP.
This work of art was painted by a well-known Japanese artist Seitaro Kuroda whose works are given various prizes for his powerful appeals for peace.
How meaningful his work is, isn't it.
This work attracts passenger's attention a lot and gives calm atomosphere for entire VERDE MALL, a shopping street in the south of Kakogawa station where our store is located.
Now, let us bring up the profile of Seitaro Kuroda.
He was born in Osaka in 1939.
His energetic and powerful personality shows himself more attractive.
He is renowned as an illustrator and also a graphic designer.
Through creating fine arts, he got a lot of awards internationally.
Briefly speaking, he is a great artist.
By the way, if you are in or from Kansai region, the west side of Japan, you must be familiar with this logo.
These are the Kuroda designed stickers of FM802, a commercial radio station broadcasting on 80.2 FM to Kansai region.
Furthermore, his strong appeal for peace is shown in his art works.
Please have a look again our signboard design picture below.
So what does the combination of the 2 flasks mean?
Each flasks are coloured in blue and red, and written upside down each other.
In my opinion, the red one seems to be the mushroom-shaped smoke caused after the tragic event happens.
For the other example of the location of Mr. Kuroda's works in Hyogo prefecture, you can find one at HOSINOKOYAKATA Youth Nature Hall in Himeji city.
In most of his works, you can notice the existence of birds as if he enthrusts his birds with his wish for peace.
Unfortunately, one of his great and peaceful design of FREEHELP store in Kakogawa will be lost soon after our Kakogawa brunch store closes.
How sad it is! I cannot stop crying!
The removal of this signboard will be inevitable, since the sign is painted on the wall directly.
However, we will do our best for conservating our meaningful signboard.
Incidentally, the interior of our Kakogawa branch store is like this.
Is this like a Boutique Parisienne in France, n'est-ce pas?
To our delight, we often have overseas guests and volunteers who live around Kakogawa city.
In the United states and in Europeern countries, for example, there are much more charitable activities and people who are energetic for volunteer events than Japan: we must pay respect to the people and welcome to our store.
Why don't you come and stop by our FREEHELP store?
And let's take a look at Mr. Kuroda's amazing art design thinking about the meaning of PEACE.
May 16 2013 A Newsflash! Our New Store!
Hello everyone! :)
Our long-cherished wish has been fulfilled at last: we will start a new branch store in Shin-Nagata, Kobe, which is managed collaborating with a NGO group.
This new co-managed store will have two sections: one purpose for an old clothes store for aiming to make charitable activities and another for a counceling center for single mothers and poor children as if a temporary nursery and a consultation clinic.
The former project, an old clothes dealer, will be handled by our FREEHELP group, and the latter counceling facility will be run by Women's Net Kobe, a NGO group for helping single mothers and children who have troubles.
We are now under preparation for running our recycle clothes store just same as our stores in Kakogawa, and also for making a place of recreation and relaxation for women who have gone through DV, domestic violent.
Furthermore, this place would give helping hands as a gathering where such people who have common problems and hardships can meet and talk each other and also a workplace for them with warm consideration and understanding for their situation.
We start preparing from June 1st, and it's planned in the end of July or August 1st that our new branch store will be opened.
As same as our charitable stores in Kakogawa, our FREEHELP in SHIN-NAGATA will be managed through profits from selling and collecting recycle clothes.
We definitely need your help in donating reusable clothes.
If you have clothes you don't need anymore, we happily accept them and surely use them for helping people.
More details about our new store, Ms. Wakamatsu, a bloggins staff, will tell you soon.
Please check it out! :)
